“You where saying.” Zack shouted ducking out of the way as the snowball flew at him.

Two more snowballs slammed inches away from Tick. Both men shot in different directions circling around the monkey to the staircase. Tick was quick to spin out his dagger and send it squarely in to the eyes of the attacker. The monkey let out a shrill cry and collapsed back in to snow. Tick snorted softly then stepped over to the unmoving pile of snow. He reached out and fingered his dagger. Suddenly the snow wrapped around his wrist and pulled hard starting to move to the doorway.

“AH!” Tick tried his hardest to pull away as the snow began to creep its way to the door. Zack reached out and grabbed Tick’s belt and pulled hard holding on to the stair case. The snow was slowly going up Ticks arm giving him a horrible numb feeling. He grimaced as he tried to ranch away.

“Let go!” he shouted he’s eyes shining a deep red color.

The snow seemed to only tighten its icy grip on the man inching its way along his shoulder. Tick reached in to his other pocket with his free hand pulling forth a second dagger. He then began pounding on the un-braking mass of snow. In seconds his other hand was stuck fast. Zack whimpered slightly still holding on to the man’s belt.

“Shit! Help!” He shouted finally as Tick was half way to the door and the grip Zack had on the man’s belt was slipping.

There was a sudden blast of flame then ripped along the snow singeing Tick’s cloths and hair.  Both man collapsed backwards landing heavily on the wood. The flames slowly died as Kytulf stepped down from the steps above.

“What are you two numskulls doing?” The undead asked his skull eyes watching the two. Tick and Zack looked at each other.

“Fighting woggies….” Tick said he still looked shacked and his lips where pail from the cold.

“woggies?” Kytulf blinked as Zack go to his feet.

“You know the snow kind, nasty little buggers.” Tick explained a bit more.

“I know what they are I’m just surprised there in a place like this, how’d it get inside?” Kytulf stepped down and fingers the spot where the snow had be reduced to water.

“We opened the door…” Zack said his eyes still on Tick.

Kytulf razed a brow as Tick flopped into a chair by the fire.

“What in the world with snow woggie’s be doing in this little village?” Kytulf stepped to the window looking up. He stepped back as a few snow balls thumped heavily against the pains.

“And it seems there’re not happy.” The old mage said watching as the monkeys danced about outside.

“but we didn’t do anything to them….i mean you killed one but..they were like that before.” Zack peeked up from behind Kytulf at the monkey’s.  The old mage said nothing he was carefully watching the small snow like beings.

“Was there one that didn’t pull snow from its belly?” he asked lightly as another regiment of snow slammed the windows shaking them heavily.

“hell if we knew!” Tick grumbled from his place by the fire.

“I wasn’t asking you. I was asking Kid!” The mage snorted back.

“oh. Umm…I couldn’t tell they started attacking me with snow, but I’m not sure how many there where or are.” Zack said softly blinking as the snow woggies hooted and whistled.

The monkeys all looked to the left then quickly scampered out of sight.

“Hey!! There going away!” Zack smiled as the last of the monkeys vanished.

“That’s odd. They were so bend on attacking the window why wo-“ There was a suddenly smash from up stairs and a loud shout. Ticks ears perked up.

“Smart little gaits! They got inside though a window!!” He was quickly on his feet.

The three men glanced at each other and where about to move when several snow woggies there lunched down the stairs. As the small monkeys landed they were reduced to snow by the sheer force of the landing.  There was a loud roar and the monkeys piled down stairs all shrinking and hissing at the stairs above. Reveta stepped down lightly in to view her eyes where showing fully a clear sign of her feelings at the moment. She was covered hat to feet in snow balls, her heavy sword resting just over her shoulder. The snow woggies hissed and backup slightly as Reveta reached the last step most of the snow had fallen off. She snorted lightly.

“what the hell are those little freaks?” Her voice was demanding as she glared down at the three men just beyond the monkeys.

“Snow woggies!” Zack said quickly.

“They turn to snow and get right back up unless you burn them all.” Tick added.

“Kytulf burned them.” Reveta spoke flashing the ancient mage a wicked grin.

He nodded then stepped away from the other two a bit his flared red but before he could speak he was pelted heavily by snowballs. Zack bit his lip to with hold his laugher. The monkeys gave a shrike and began to fling snow every which way. The four in the room hit the deck diving behind couches and tables. Soon the heavy thumping has stopped and Jack peeked up from behind a chair. There was now a single monkey standing in the room. It was slightly furry not full of snow.

“Hey I see it!” he shouted. The snow woggie looked over and him then grinned It gave a loud hoot and clapped its hands.

“Then kill the damn thing!” Reveta shouted peeking out from behind and over turned table.
